It is hard to believe it has been almost five years since we began this journey.  A journey that began in our living room with just a few people, people who God had stirred to be a part of something new, something that would change our lives, impact our city and touch the world. Since those days five years ago, God has done so many things at LifeChurch.  He has touched people’s hearts. He has healed people’s marriages. Incredible relationships have formed. In the words of the psalmist, “God has done great things for us and we are filled with joy.” (Psalm 126:3) Yet inside of me, and I believe inside many of you, there is a sense that this is just the beginning: the tip of the iceberg, the beginning of the wave.  An expectation that as great as these first five years have been, God has so much more in store for us.  That is really what this L3 campaign is all about. It is aligning ourselves with the purposes of God so that we might be in a position to experience all that God wants to do in us and through our church.  We are doing this not only to provide a stable home base from which we can do ministry, and to help reach out to "the least of these", but above all we are doing this for God.  To honor Him with obedience, with our lives and our ministry.  Our Life. Our Love. Our Legacy. It is for His glory and renown that we take this step.
